Summary

When using IE11 in JIRA, selecting the calendar under customfield type date picker in issue navigator will generate the following error:
You must enter text with 15 or fewer characters

Environment

• JIRA 6.4.7, JIRA Software 7.1.4 / 7.1.7
• Internet Explorer 11

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a customfield with date time picker type
2. Then go to issue navigator select the customfield you had just created
3. Select in between then click on the calendar icon

Expected Results

The respective date is selected.

Actual Results

The error message below will be shown: You must enter text with 15 or fewer characters

Workaround

• Use alternate supported browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox
• Use Advance Searching
