Searching JIRA issues for special characters (in text fields) does not work, even if these characters have been properly escaped in a quick, simple or advanced (i.e. JQL) search.

      Hello everyone,

      if we are using special characters like

      \\[

      the JIRA JQL search didn't find anything else.
      If we are using the following:

      \\[IM

      The Issue Navigator ignores the bracket and searches only for IM.
      I've looked at JRA-25092, if we made anything wrong, but it seems that our Query was correct.
