      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Problem

      On JIRA Agile enabled projects, the Project Summary screen is automatically redirected to Agile boards when the new project navigation is enabled. To access the summary page, users must click the project avatar icon on the left bar.

      Workaround

      Disable the new project navigation and the summary page is no longer redirected. You can do this on per-user or a global basis.

      or

      1. Access the Dark Features Administration screen via direct URL (<INSTANCE_URL>/secure/admin/SiteDarkFeatures!default.jspa)
      2. Disable dark feature com.atlassian.jira.projects.ProjectCentricNavigation.Switch
      3. Add dark feature com.atlassian.jira.projects.ProjectCentricNavigation.Disabled

      Suggestion

      Give the option to users choose whether they want to automatically be redirected or not to the Agile boards.
