Unable to Open PDFs Inline - Prompted for Download

      Summary

      Since JIRA 6.4.1/ 6.5-OD-01, PDFs attachments are not displayed inline in the user's browser. Instead, users are prompted to download the file and open it locally.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Attach a PDF file to a JIRA Issue

        Expected Results

      The PDF file is displayed in the user's browser.

      Actual Results

      The user is prompted to download the file.

       

      Workaround

      User may upgrade to JIRA 7. JIRA 7 provide the feature to preview pdf file.
