Summary
When trying to watch an issue in the Activity Stream, an error pops up in the UI. It is only triggered when the instance has a context path.
Environment
- Tested in JIRA 6.4.1
Steps to Reproduce
- Setup a vanilla instance of 6.4.1 (with a context path)
- Create a project and issues so that the activity stream is filled up (a sample project works fine here)
- Try to watch any one of the issues in the activity stream. An error will occur
Expected Results
The user is successfully added to the list of watchers of the issue
Actual Results
The following error will show up in the UI :
In the browser developer tool, it would show this :
Notes
- The user is an admin that is a member of all groups
- Couldn't find much from the logs
- The issue can be watched if done so from the issue itself
Workaround
The problem does not occur if no context path is configured on the instance (the base URL must reflect this as well).
