My CustomField Checklist is now being displayed in JIRA 6.4 with a Simple Wiki Renderer Toolbar. My customfield is not a text based customfield. It derives from AbstractMultiCFType. However, the field rendering HTML includes a TextArea so I assume that the Wiki Renderer Toolbar wrongly assumes that my CustomField requires one.

As of now, I have numerous requests from my customers to update my CustomField to support JIRA 6.4 but cannot do it. How can I turn off the renderer toolbar? Since it is not a text customfield, I cannot set the renderer in the customfield configuration page.
