    Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

At the moment, this page will display all of the fields that are associate with a particular project.

You can find the page as follows:
      <instance>/secure/ShowConstantsHelp.jspa

It also may expose a critical internal information such as Issue Security Levels to the users that are not suppose to see it. Since security level are made to hide issues based on the user groupds, by showing the list of security levels in ShowConstantsHelp.jspa, may give internal information to the user.

The desired behaviour is to have a feature where user/administrator can hide or configure the content of ShowConstantsHelp.jspa

      Workaround

Configure the create issues permission in your Permission Scheme to limit the number of users that can create an issue for particular project.

If we have a project (let's called it Project A) that uses Issue Security Scheme A and Permission Scheme A, and has been set to only users in group A are able to create an issue for the project A, any users that are not belong to group A would not be able to create any issue for the project A. Hence, those users would not have the ability to search for the project during the issue creation screen, thus making the Issue Security levels for Issue Security Scheme A unavailable for them to see in ShowConstantsHelp.jspa as long as no project is using the same issue security scheme
