Accessing single issue sending additional request to Favourite Filter

Step to reproduce the data:

1. install JIRA
2. create new projects and issues
3. Open up the Developer Tools in Google Chrome
4. browse to one of the issue directly using $JIRA_URL/browse/Issue_Key
5. in the Developer Tool's network tab, there is a request to $JIRA_URL/rest/api/2/filter/favourite?. Refer screenshot :
   
6. create multiple filters in the instance
7. access the same issue and it is still load with the same speed

Problem:

1. When accessing issue, background request to the Favourite Filter add additional request to the instance and utilizing more resource
2. creating filters increasing the Timing for $JIRA_URL/rest/api/2/filter/favourite?
   • No Favourite Filter:
     
   • With 5 Filters:
     
   • With 10 Filters:
     

Issue Loading is fast and it is not a problem

Resolution

This issue is obsolete at least for JIRA 7.0+. There is no more /rest/api/2/filter/favourite call.
