List generated by fields labelled "Start typing to get a list of possible matches or press down to select." are not accessible with a screen reader

Hi,

I'm blind and am using Jaws version 15 both with IE 11 and Firefox latest version.

When completing issues in jira fileds which have the label:

Start typing to get a list of possible matches or press down to select.

It is impossible to access the list of items with the screen reader.

If I start typing and then leave the edit field, there is no sign of any list on screen.

If only one match exists then pressing the tab key will fill out the field, but this is no good where multiple items are present in the list.

Sighted colleagues have confirmed that a list is visible to them.

No details are actually given as to what is the shortcoming in the description for this issue, so I can't say if it is related to my problem.

As a blind developer, this issue has a serious impact on my ability to independently fill out and complete issues in Jira.

Is there anypossibility this issue could be resolved shortly?
