This is related to JRA-33941 and may be JRA-29032
As plugin vendor I've got several customer complains that gadget is not rendered properly on Internet Explorer 9 (IE9). See Issue#559 for example.
It's clearly reproducible, but I'm trying hard to find anything I can do in plugin with no luck.
I hope there is something that can be done in JIRA gadget container.
E.g. /plugins/servlet/gadgets/ifr servlet can provide X-UA compatibility meta in html head.
It may be that JRA-29032 has caused such regression, by removing chrome=1 from X-UA Compatibility meta.
Note, JIRA standard gadgets are not using iframes any more, so there is no such problem there, but plugin gadgets are in iframe, so I suspect they may need own X-UA compatibility meta, that can not be provided by gadget itself, but may be provided by JIRA instead.
Is it something that Atlassian can look at, please?
Thank you.
