A week ago, we made our JIRA instance available on a public address (still private). It is still running on the same server, but before we accessed it using an internal address like http://pi-ds-002:8080 and now we use a public address. We made some changes to the proxy and the firewall and all seemed to work fine. Ofcourse, we also changed the "Base URL" setting in JIRA.
Since then, some weirdness has occurred: sometimes a developer updates an issue and we notice that another developer doesn't see the change. Also, when linking two issues, we see the link added in one issue, but not in the other.
These problems occur very little, and they also go away after flushing the cache and re-indexing JIRA. The strange thing is that we never had these problems before we changed the "Base URL" setting. I don't whether it is at all possible that these are related, but I get a little itchy from this kind of weird behaviour.
