We should integrate with Clear Case.

Any plans for this plug-in to work with Jira 4.x. When is Atlassion going to offer support for this plugin?

+1 for ClearCase, don't need ClearQuest. While I'd like to see us migrate away from ClearCase, it isn't going to happen any time soon.

I have updated the description pointing to the Binyan's free plug-in.

FishEye has an issue open for this already - FE-248.

Thanks to Binyan for providing a plug-in for JIRA customers that require this functionality today.

            Cheers!

            Binyan,

You should send an e-mail out to jira-users@atlassian.com and see if there's anyone there that can help!

            Cheers

I'm nearly done with the 1st version of a Jira/ClearCase plugin. I have the log parser, service and issue panel all working with mock objects. I now need to bring it all together as a complete package. Would anyone be interested in helping test the code and give feedback?

ct lshistory lists all the checkins for a versioned object in clearcase including checkin comments

You can also limit the listing to a single branch by using
            ct lshistory -branch <branch>

and by using -since only changes since a specific time is listed
Since support giving date and time or easier things like yesterday:

            ct lshistory -since yesterday

There are a lot more options that control how the information is formated etc

It appears that lshistory may be the correct command:

            http://paperlined.org/reference/clearcase_v4.0/lshistory.html

            Can anyone verify this?

This API may be useful for the integration:

            http://sourceforge.net/projects/clearcase-java/

Or perhaps we could talk to the tool directly:

            http://paperlined.org/reference/clearcase_v4.0/cleartool.html

I just have to find out what command you can use to list / find the check in comments (equivalent of CVS log).

+1. Would like to press my company towards Jira, but ClearCase integration is a stumbling block.
