      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Since 6.0.2 there's a ?validateQuery query parameter that other systems can use to disable JQL validation, but it is currently only available through the REST or XML APIs.

      For systems that want to contruct JQL to link from an external system to a web view, it would be useful if this parameter could be honoured by the web-interface, URL etc.
