Description

For JIRA 5.2 in order for authentication to be successful, the oauth parameters have to be included as URL parameters. For JIRA 6+ it doesn't matter whether the oauth parameters are included as URL parameters or as parameters in the post body.
The tutorial here https://developer.atlassian.com/display/JIRADEV/JIRA+REST+API+Example+-+OAuth+authentication makes no mention of the parameter requirement and says 5+.
