Summary
Searching for issues assigned to or reported by inactive user is not possible in basic mode.
Steps to Reproduce
- Assign an issue to userA
- Make userA inactive (uncheck the Active box)
- Using Basic mode, search the Assignee > userA
- Switch to Advanced Mode, search with JQL Assignee = 'userA'
Expected Results
In Basic mode, userA is not available in the drop-down option
Actual Results
UserA is searchable in Basic mode
Solution / Workaround
- Make user Active when running the search in Basic mode
- If we know exact username we can enter it in Advanced Search mode in spite of username is not suggested.
