UX - Inline Edit - Dropdown overlapping

Repro:

1. View existing issue in Jira.
2. Click on field labelled "Type". (Dropdown menu appears.)
3. Select new issue type. (Type is selected; check & "X" buttons appear.)
4. Try to click on the "X" button.

Expected:

Button should be visible & clickable.

Actual:

Button gets hidden behind the editor visual for the field labelled "Priority" right below. See attached screenshot.
