      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      It would be great if we can create dashboard via REST API. Having this can easily create the dashboard automatically for new projects with certain set of requirements.

      The dashboard created also would be great to have the option to choose as publicly shared during creation.

            It would make our workflow SO much easier and automated if we could create dashboards via API

            Come on, it's 2022....this issue should have been fixed ages ago. I can create filters using the REST API's...just need dashboards to work as well to level up the usage of Jira.
