It's a casual interface that invites me to type quick, casual, partial queries

When a query is driven from this interface I'd expect searching "sql" to find:
      "sql"
      "sqlite"
      "sqlite3"

Exhibiting the characteristics of searching for "sql*"

If I care to be more precise I'll use the more precise and articulate controls afforded by the basic and advanced query "builders"; I'm not expecting tobe precise in a single search field of this caliber.
