    Description

      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Currently JIRA doesn't provide functionality for copying one custom field and its contents to another. Please provide the ability to do so in product.

      Workaround

      This can be done with third-party plugins as per this Answers question.
