JQL removes double quotes (") from startOfTheWeek("+xd") and other functions

When first searching with a query such as the following:
status changed to "To Do" during (startofweek("+1d"), endofweek("+1d"))
you will receive correct results. Saving this filter, and recalling it again from the Issue Navigator (ie, via the Favorite Filters tab) will strip the double quotes, JIRA will load the following JQL and fail as the + is a protected character:
status changed to "To Do" during (startofweek(+1d), endofweek(+1d))
This means the saved filter cannot be used in Gadgets or be recalled again.
