      Atlassian Update – 06 December 2017

      Hi everyone,

We have recently reviewed this issue and the overall interest in the problem. As the issue hasn't collect votes, watchers, comments, or support cases from many customers during its lifetime, it's very low on our priority list, and will not be fixed in the foreseeable future. That's why we've decided to resolve it as Time Out.

Although we're aware the issue is still important to those of you who were involved in the conversations around it, we want to be clear in managing your expectations. The Jira team is focusing on issues that have broad impact and high value, reflected by the number of comments, votes, support cases, and customers interested. Please consult the Atlassian Bugfix Policy for more details.

We understand how disappointing this decision may be, but we hope you'll appreciate our transparent approach and communication.
Atlassian will continue to watch this issue for further updates, so please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
      Thank you,
      Ignat Alexeyenko

    Description

On My Dashboard screen I have few views with all issues assigned to me, issues assigned to me that are in progress and all issues that should be fixed in current fix version and are not closed or canceled.

The problem is that the views include IFRAMEs and JavaScript reloading/refreshing these iframes does not adjust the height of the view accordingly. This results in not seeing all the issues (if some has been added to the concrete view) or in an empty space after the list of issues in the view.

The only solution how to solve this is to:

      1. click on "More" on the view's header bar,
      2. click on "Edit" and then
      3. Cancel the edit (as clicking on Save will result in no change at all).

After this bothering steps the view is re-rendered with height set up accordingly.

I am attaching 4 screens, each containing two views:

      1. second view is smaller than the list of issues
      2. after the sequence of steps described above the view is re-rendered
      3. first view is now bigger (3 tasks were closed) - after clicking on "Refresh" only the issues are refreshed, view remains the same height as if there were 8 issues (as before)
      4. after the sequence of steps described above the view is re-rendered

This is really annoying so fixing this would be highly appreciated.
