Issue Summary
- Customer would like to see local time zone format ie. CST, PST in issues
- After applying correct configs in look and feel the correct format display in preview but not in issues. Correct format displays for .5 seconds in issue but then switches to GMT format
- All users, all applications are seeing this issue
- This issue occurs every time and is reproducible
Environment
- Reproduced in Jira versions 8.8.0, 8.8.3 and 8.7.1
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to Look and Feel
- Set timezone from default dd/MMM/yy h:mm a to dd/MMM/yy h:mm a, z
- Click Update
- The time zone then shows correct format with example: E.g. 22/May/07 10:55 PM, CDT
Expected Results
When you go to issue you should see local time zone format displayed for created ie. CDT, PST
Actual Results
Time zone format shows correct for .5 second then switches to GMT format
Setting 'z' at the end is the correct format needed since the correct local format is shown but only for a second and then switches to GMT format. Indicating this is suspicious bug behavior.
