While we have a setting in JIRA that limits the amount of characters a comment can contain this is not always fail proof ( IE comments by email, preexisting comments before the setting was in place, etc ) leading to comments that are 1 megabyte and above in size.
This becomes problematic for JIRA when attempting to load an issue with a large comment impacting performance and/or causing OOMs.
Therefore this request is for a new renderer that decides whether to use the text renderer or wiki renderer based on input size
