      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      It would be interesting to have JIRA automatically update a plugin license when the license has already expired.

      Example steps

      1. JIRA checks plugin license has expired
      2. JIRA checks my.atlassian.com for any valid license of renewal
      3. JIRA updates the plugin license if valid license found
