JavaScript error preventing switching of User Profile Panels

There is an JavaScript error occurring while switching between User Profile Panels (Summary and Roadmap). With multiple custom tabs, this error breaks the tabs switch functionality (after clicking on another tab link, the tab is not loaded and the screen goes back to original one).

The error in console looks like:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'value' of null
window.historyStorage.loadHashTable
window.historyStorage.hasKey
window.historyStorage.put
addImpl

Please note that there are no user-installed plug-ins on the JIRA instance, so it can not be caused by third party plug-in.
