    Description

      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Currently JIRA does not add a change history record until the history is actually changed. This means for brand new issues there is no original value listed in the change history until the field is changed.

      Please improve JIRA so that the original change history is included at the point the issue is created.
