There's not much explanation regarding the jira property whether it would stop the auto backup export entirely on the routine backup services. The following documentation only mentioned the functionality of using such property during upgrade:

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Set the jira.autoexport = false in jira-config.properties
2. Startup JIRA
3. Set the backup services delay to 5 minute or your prefer interval.
4. The backup would still auto export regardless of the property set.

Expected Results:
Looking at the name of the property, it should stop auto export completely.

Actual Results:
Backup services still running normally and generating backup although the property been set.
