      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Similar to JRA-6765, please provide a means within the Admin U/I to set the site-wide default attachment sort order.

      We have some JIRA instances which are extremely attachment-heavy, and sorting by date is far easier to work with than sorting by name...

      It would be great if it was configured as easily as configuring sub-task columns.
