Custom Event on Create Issue transition causes Autowatch feature to fail

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a Custom Event in JIRA;
2. Edit the workflow and change the Create Issue transition to use the Custom Event instead of the Issue Created event;
3. Change your User Profile settings to enable the Autowatch feature;
4. Create a new issue (using this workflow).

Expected Results:

You'd be automatically added as a watcher to the issue after creating it.

Actual Results:

The user is not added as a watcher to the issue.
