Ability to bulk update field configuration for show/hide with checkbox select

Trying to update a field configuration when there are 500 custom fields is a bit of a pain. It would be useful, and a huge time saver, to be able to bulk update the field configuration.

For instance, I would like to checkbox select all fields on a field configuration and then Hide them. Then select several to show.

Perhaps there is a better way, I'm ready for ideas rkrishna!
