The 'issuetype' column in a filter is represented by an icon, with a tooltip for the text of the issuetype ('story', 'technical task', etc.). If you choose to "Views > Excel (Current fields)", the "Issue Type" column returns the text name, not an icon. This is standard JIRA behavior. However, If you set up a subscription on this query, the HTML table that you get via email has an icon for 'issuetype' instead of a text name.
The question is: Is there a way to force JIRA to include the 'Issue Type' name in the emailed subscription results, similar to the way that 'Views > Excel' does, rather than just the icon?
