Issues load very slowly depending on recent search history

      NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding bug report.

      If you've recently searching JIRA with criteria that return a large list of results every time you load issues they will load very slowly.

      Steps to reproduce:
      Search for 'best of' in support.atlassian.com
      Wait for issue list to load
      Return to dashboard
      Click on any issue or 'issue navigator'
      Issues will take 25-35 seconds to load until search terms have been cleared
      Also any time you link to SAC the issue search will be automatically populated
