Ability to exclude the Release Version in Fixed Version/Affected Version

      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      User would like to have the ability to restrict the Release Version in Fixed Version OR Affected Version.

      However, archiving the version will hide all Fix Version and Affected Version which is not in the use case

            This issue is actual for the cloud version as well.

            I believe a user is able to archive versions, thus removing the versions from the FixVersion/Affected Version:
