      Current Scenario

When searching in the Issue Navigator and ordering by Components or Versions, the returned issues are first ordered by Project and only then alphabetically (in case of the components) or version order; which may lead to a bit of confusion.

      Suggestion

      • As per Eric's suggestion, we should make the issue navigator sort by component/version directly, and the user should manually specify, e.g.: 'order by project, version', if he wants to sort by project first.
      • This behavior should be documented to avoid further confusion - possibly with a note under these fields or a general note on the ORDER BY section of the Advanced Searching doc.

Update: The Advanced Searching page was updated to include an info box below the Order By keyword.
