      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Example Scenario:

      While importing data from JIRA standalone to OnDemand, if the user count in OnDemand is smaller than what's in the standalone, an auto generated over the limit username conflict notification e-mail is sent.

      The notification is sent to EVERY user in the system for EVERY user over the limit. There is no way to turn off these notifications or set it at least to only go to the system admin. This is highly disruptive to all the users who received hundreds of these.

      For system maintenance and import purposes, the following would save time for standard users and reduce email server load.

      • Disable system notifications (Admin)
      • Customize to only send to a single group (system administrators)
