Sorting in KickAss navigator goes awry if you specify a sort then click the heading for the sort column

      • In advanced mode in the issue navigator enter JQL 
        project = jsp AND resolution = unresolved ORDER BY "Number of attachments" DESC

        press enter to run the search.

      • Click the number of attachments header
