Steps to reproduce:

• in IE8, view an issue
• click the Edit button
• in the fixVersion field, type a version name that doesn't exist. the suggestions drop-down should display "No matches"
• delete the text from the fixVersion field and click 'Update'
• the edit page displays an error indicating the version does not exist

Since there is no version name in the text box anymore, there should be no error.
