Issue navigator search with “ ” break when changing Project and Issue Type criteria

Summary

When searching for an issue using the Issue Navigator with the “ “ JQL function, it will work flawlessly. However, when the search box has the search ready but you make changes to the criteria of Project and Issue Type then the search will turn to " "

For example: A search of

“due date”

will change to

"due date"

Steps to reproduce

1. In a new filter, type in “due date” and enter, the result will show
2. Change the Project criteria by ticking a project (Eg. JIRA), the “due date” that was typed earlier will change and no results were return

Tested in Chrome and Firefox. This does not occur for Status and Assignee criteria.
