jira.permission.assignable.reporter workflow property is also listing the current Assignee in the assignable user list
It's possible for us to allow only issue Reporter to be assigned to an issue when executing a workflow transition, by using the jira.permission.assignable.reporter workflow property. By applying the property, we are expecting that only the Reporter to be list down in the Assignee field, however we may found that actually the current assignee (different that the Reporter) will be listed as well.
Since the expected behavior is to have only the Reporter to be listed, it is great if we can remove the current assignee from the list as well.
Some sample screenshot, the workflow property is applied to the Resolved status:
- When some other user (admin) is the current Assignee of an issue, we can see that the user will be listed as an assignable user:
- But if the Reporter is also the current Assignee, we can only see the Reporter name as the assignable user in the list:
