Hercules Scanning log files does not progress

       Jira on windows 2008 R2
       Java version: "1.6.0_37"
       Database on SQLSERVER 2005

      We deployed Jira 5.1.7

      Now we tried to report a bug to Atlassian (directly from our Jira )
      Jira suggest to launch a scn of our log files to find any know issue.

      So we launched it by filling the path of the log file.
      It starts but not progress. It stays at 0% even after several hours
