Description
Prerequisites:
- Check the values of "jira.date.picker.javascript.format" and "jira.date.picker.java.format" (in the "Advanced" section of General Configuration) – I observed this problem when the formats were "%e/%b/%y" and "d/MMM/yy" respectively. They might occur for others, but I am unsure.
Steps to reproduce:
- Edit an issue that has a Due Date field.
- In the field, manually type the following date: "1/Oct/1".
- Update the issue.
Expected result:
- The date should be 1st October, 2001.
Actual result:
- The date ends up as the 2nd October, CE 1.
Alternative steps to reproduce:
- Go to the administration section for a project.
- Choose the "Versions" tab.
- Enter a new version name, and manually type in "1/Oct/1" for the date.
- Click "add".
- Edit the newly added version.
