Display name does not get updated in some fields

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Set up ldap sync (read only).
      2. Identify a test account within LDAP and view it in the user picker. Then add the user as an administrator / developer / user on the project configuration page. See the attached screenshot.
      3. Change the display name in LDAP. Example is to change LastName, FirstName to LastName, First (changed first name string).
      4. Resync LDAP
      5. Perform a user search on the user. Verify that the user shows correctly. Go back to the Project People page and see that the name does not match.

            Issue persists after a reindex via the UI.
            When I shut the instance down, and manually removed the indexes and restarted, the issue was resolved.
            When I shut the instance down, and immediately brought it back up without removing the indexes, the issue was resolved.

            Indicates that the restart itself works around the issue, not clearing the indexes.

            Boris, what happens if you trigger a JIRA reindex after the update? I suspect that these users' names are cached somewhere.
