    Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

We need some kind of advise regarding the JIRA Structure plugin, e.g. is this future safe solution? It seems to fill a significant functional gap so why did'nt Atlassian make such a function in the first place? This Igor Sereda (who seems to be an extremely bright guy by the way), does he run a one man show? If so, do we dare to go that way, is that really future safe??? (our products have a very long life cycle!!!)

We have several JIRA projects representing both the delivery product level and (often common) sub-products on various levels. For a few projects we use GreenHopper since long and now we tink that Rapid Board seems to be one way to start using Greenhopper for more products as we can span over several JIRA projects that way.

But some people here are interested in the Structure plugin and such a choice seems me - to some extent - be an alternative to use Rapidboard.

So I really need some kind of product road map though I know that that is not in line with the policy of Atlassian.

Or could we get some kind of statement from Atlassian regarding the future of the Structure plugin or the functionality it represents?

      Please!!
