Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
When using the Windows Installer, it does not set the %JAVA_HOME% system variable. If a user tries to use the JIRA Configuration Tool they will then need to set that variable as in setting JAVA_HOME.
To replicate
- Download and install JIRA using the Windows Installer.
- Check if the variable has been set as in setting JAVA_HOME.
- Attempt to the config.bat tool.
To workaround
Set the %JAVA_HOME% as in setting JAVA_HOME.
