Unable to import a JIRA OnDemand export to any supported, self-hosted version of JIRA

      The version of JIRA in OnDemand at the time of writing is 5.1-rc8 (build 769). However, the latest version of JIRA to download is 5.1 (build 768). JIRA will not allow the import of XML backups from newer versions of JIRA.

      Since OnDemand's JIRA will now always be ahead of the downloadable JIRA releases, JIRA exports from OnDemand can no longer be used with a stable, supported version of JIRA.

      This poses serious problems for customers that want to migrate off OnDemand.
