The latest JIRA 5.1 EAP simply doesn't work under IE8. I see different problems in my dev instance and on jira.atlassian.com, but they all look the same: some "unable to get property" exception in console (thanks backbone.js?) and then something - or everything stops working: menus, togglers, whatever.

As far as I can see from the docs, IE8 is still supported.
