JIRA Workflow Designer Auto Layout does not work

Create a workflow from the old way and then switch to Workflow Designer and press Auto Layout.

The layout is completely messed up and does not work.

Even when using the Workflow Designer - transition labels do not snap and go off the image.

This is very important as our users press the "View Workflow" button to see where they are.
