Description
A period of inactivity of 24 hours on a JIRA installation results in a wrong calculation and display of "yesterday" in the activity stream. Actually yesterday is then no longer yesterday, but the day of last activity in the JIRA installation.
On our DEV environment we tested a lot on Wednesday. Thursday was a bank holiday, why no one tested on JIRA DEV. Today (Friday) JIRA insists that many actions were executed yesterday, which indeed were done on Wednesday.
Please compare both screenshots:
1104.png (was made 11:04 am.)
- Creation of DISC-1313 (marked with red 3) was done yesterday 11:09 am. according to the activity stream.
1113.png (was made 11:13 am.)
- Creation of DISC-1313 (marked with red 3) was done Wednesday 11:09 am. according to the activity stream.
Seems as if JIRA thinks it is still the day after the last action anyway and brings everything in sync when all actions are less than 24 hours in the past.
