Not able to add large number of users to 'Project Users' project role

      We are unable to add users to the project role in large numbers. This might be because of the length/size of the GET REST URL.
      Following is the error that comes

      "The JIRA server could not be contacted. This may be a temporary glitch or the server may be down."

      We are able to add users to the roles with less number of users.
