Raised from a customer:

I have multiple projects with the same components but when I run a pie chart or single level grouping report it does not consolidate the common components into common categories.
example: Project SUPP, IMPORT and RMAP call have a component called Targets but they are reported as separate categories.
Since fields such as assignee and labels can be consolidated across projects I would have thought components would do the same.

This could be added as an additional option when configuring the gadget, perhaps a simple checkbox "Combine identically-named components across projects" or something to that effect.
